Insurance broker M&A rose 31 percent in 2017; AIG CEO warns of insurance talent exodus

Vermont was judged to have the best insurance regulatory environment in the U.S. for the fourth consecutive year, according to the R Street Institute’s 2017 Insurance Regulation Report Card. Meanwhile, Delaware had the worst score in the country for the first time, driven largely by changes in its regulatory environment through the H.B. 80 legislative package, the report said.
