FCC Chairman Ajit Pai on Tuesday defended his plan to repeal Obama-era net neutrality rules, arguing the real danger to an open internet comes from Twitter and other tech giants.

“Let’s not kid ourselves: When it comes to a free and open Internet, Twitter is part of the problem,” Pai said in a speech hosted by right-leaning groups R Street Institute and Lincoln Network. “The company has a viewpoint and uses that viewpoint to discriminate.”
