From the St. Augustine Record:

Wednesday, DeSantis met with Christian R. Camara of Tallahassee, the Florida director of R Street Institute, a Washington, D.C.-based center-right think tank that is listed as an opponent of the Act.

Camara said the Legislature has explored this issue twice already and turned it down both times.

“Amazon used to support the act, but is building a huge distribution center in the state. Now they oppose it,”…Camara said, “This Act grants states the authority and power to reach into other states and have auditing and enforcement power. It sets a dangerous precedent. We view with skepticism any attempt to raise taxes or impose new taxes.”
