A woman made a blouse with Mitch McConnell’s face all over it, but why?
Ever wish you could have your favorite politician on your body?
Wait, what?
One woman took to Twitter to show off her DIY creation of a blouse printed with Sen. Mitch McConnell’s face all over it.
Shoshana Weissmann from Washington D.C. posted photos of a print shirt using a fabric she designed bearing the Senate Majority Leader’s face.
Here it is:
So what made her want to plaster the Kentucky senator’s face all over her chest?
“Senator McConnell is one of my absolute favorite memes,” Weissmann said. “He has a way about him that’s subtly hilarious, so I just love memeing him!”
Weissmann said this particular face made by McConnell was her favorite.
“In one of his ads, he has this scene where he’s trying not to smile, but his face is just so expressive, and it comes through,” Weissmann said.
Weissmann taught herself to sew when she was 7 years old. She’s made her prom dress, shirts, purses and more since then.
“It’s really therapeutic for me, and also challenges my mind,” Weissmann said. “I wish I sewed more. But lately, I’ve been really into using interesting fabrics and fabrics I design to create really unique pieces that are aesthetically pleasing, with a twist!”
So what’s next for the print?
“I might do more with the McConnell print, but the shirt was just so perfect,” Weissmann said. “I’m definitely going to make a hair bow and maybe a skirt from it, too.”
You can’t buy the print just yet, Weissmann is juggling a full-time job at a Republican think tank and lots of side projects, but she is trying to make more time for it.

McConnell likes Weissmann’s blouse, too.
“We have seen her tweets and photos and we think she has good fashion sense,” said Robert Steurer, a spokesman for the senator.
