It’s the crazy season in the North Carolina General Assembly, as lawmakers try to get their bills passed before the May 13 “crossover” deadline. One bill, dubbed the Clean Slate Act, would allow people to get certain criminal records expunged if they stay out of trouble. Marc Hyden from the R Street Intitute joins me to discuss. Plus, the owners of a Haywood County motel and RV park sparked outraged after posting ACAB (which stands for All Cops Are Bas**rds) on their marquee.
