How important is cybersecurity in policy, and why? How does the SolarWinds hack play into overall cybersecurity? R Street Institute’s Resident Fellow Kathryn Waldron and Resident Senior Fellow Paul Rosenzweig answer these questions through immersive discussions.

This first event covered the objectives of cybersecurity, breaking down why it is relevant to anyone shaping legislation and who the main threats are in cyberspace. As a case study, the event analyzed the SolarWinds hack. Waldron discussed the main questions in cybersecurity, followed by a fireside chat-style discussion with Rosenzweig to learn more about the importance of cybersecurity in policy.
