From Washington Examiner:

Groups including Advanced Energy Economy, Electric Power Supply Association, Natural Gas Supply Association, American Council on Renewable Energy, and R Street Institute had asked FERC to consider a carbon pricing program as a way to unify differing policies in states that participate in organized markets, some of which are considering carbon pricing and others that already have clean electricity mandates. FERC’s announcement of a meeting does not suggest it will act on carbon pricing, but the conference is intended to add to the agency’s record on the subject.
