Paul Rosenzweig, a senior fellow at R Street Institute, predicted the commission’s day in the spotlight would come much later this year.

“The optimistic view, which I kind of like, is that eventually they’re gonna come back in September and feel the need to do some things that look like they’ve gotten back to normal,” said Rosenzweig, a former deputy assistant secretary for policy at DHS. “They’re going to take things off the shelf that a lot of people like. That covers the core of the Solarium Commission stuff.”
