A report, co-authored by Deluzio, released last week by the Brennan Center for Justice, the Alliance for Securing Democracy, the R Street Institute, and the University of Pittsburgh Institute for Cyber Law, Policy, and Security delved into how several states spent money allocated to them under the Help America Vote Act. Researchers found states were able to address some security needs, but some are millions of dollars short of the funding required to shore up all their known weaknesses.
