The R Street Institute hosted an April 17 launch party for the Justice for Work Coalition. Justice for Work is a coalition of organizations spanning the ideological spectrum that seeks to raise awareness and advocate for lowering the barriers created by laws and regulations that unnecessarily restrict economic participation.
The event included a panel discussion featuring former law enforcement officers, an ex-offender, and policy and legal experts.
The panelists were:
Arthur Rizer, R Street Institute
Ed Chung, Center for American Progress (moderator)
Teresa Hodge, Mission: Launch
Marcus Bullock, Flikshop
Alvaro Bedoya, Georgetown University Law Center
