Ross Marchand


Ross Marchand is a second-year master’s student in the Department of Economics at George Mason University and an associate fellow of the R Street Institute. His current research interests include disability insurance reform and the role of state-level liability structure in abating environmental contamination.

Ross graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s in economics and government & politics. He has interned for the Texas Public Policy Foundation and the American Legislative Exchange Council, during which he analyzed and blogged on a variety of public policy issues ranging from higher education to fiscal policy.

In the summer of 2015, he interned for the Lithuanian Free Market Institute and produced commentary on the European Union’s emerging Capital Markets Union.
