News R Street Institute statement on Senate passage of S.B. 1044
S.B. 1044 is a commonsense reform that protects the private property rights of Floridians. Although the original bill had stronger protections, this is a step in the right direction. I salute the Florida Senate for unanimously passing this important piece of legislation and urge the Florida House to likewise approve the measure and send it to Gov. Scott for his signature.
